a 501c3 non-profit founded on faith principles; member of the National Alliance of Free Clinics (NAFC) and have achieved NAFC gold standards

Executive Director - Lisa Zouvelos Kreag, MSW, LCSW

  • Medical Director - Barbara Haehner, MD, board certified internist, nephrologist and pharmacist
  • Dental Director - DeLayne Lefevre, DDS
  • Business Manager - LuAnn Pronschinske
  • Healthcare Coordinator - Tami Verdeyen
  • Chairman of Board of Directors - Sherese Martin

Services provided by volunteers that include: medical doctors, dentists, nurse practitioners, nurses, dental hygienists and assistants, clinic supervisor, receptionists, administrative assistants, RV drivers, Spanish interpreters (70% of patients are Hispanic, 8% Arabic)

- Volunteering at the Clinic

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Heart and Soul. The Heart and Soul Free Clinic is always on the look out for amazing volunteers. It is through volunteers that Heart and Soul is able to provide much-needed medical, dental and mental healthcare to hundreds of our uninsured and underinsured neighbors in Hamilton County and the surrounding areas. One of our volunteers recently said “The clinic is my favorite place to work in healthcare!!”

We want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to join in this good work in any capacity you can. Volunteers must be 18 years or older. 

***Please note, students seeking service hours for a future references will need to volunteer at a minimum of 6 shifts.

Licensed Volunteer Opportunities for Medical, Dental, and Mental Health

Medical Volunteers serving in our Walk-in and Appointment Only Medical Clinics provide much needed acute and chronic medical care to uninsured and underinsured residents of Hamilton County and the surrounding areas.
We are currently seeking volunteers for these positions:

  • Physician
  • Nurse Practitioner
  • Nurse

 

Dental Volunteers serving in our Walk-in Dental Clinics provide much needed acute dental care to uninsured and underinsured residents of Hamilton County and the surrounding areas.
We are currently seeking volunteers for these positions:

  • Dentist
  • Dental Hygienist
  • Dental Assistant

 

Mental Health Volunteers serving at the clinic provide much needed mental health care to uninsured and underinsured residents of Hamilton County and the surrounding areas. These volunteers are on a as needed basis and frequently provide care virtually. 
We are currently seeking volunteers for these positions:

  • Licensed Mental Health Professional (LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHP, etc)
